GES Immigration Consulting Inc. SERVICES CLIENT STARTUP PROCESS

How to Get Started

Clients who would like to know more about our services are encouraged to call us at 780-669-2674 or fill out our web form. We will contact you to schedule an initial consultation with an immigration consultant.

Initial Consultation Meeting

The first step to working with GES Immigration Consulting Inc. is to schedule an initial consult with one of our immigration consultants. This allows us to understand your situation and answer any questions you may have.

Can I Do the Initial Consultation by Phone or Online?

Yes you can. We prefer meeting you in person in our Edmonton immigration consultant office, but we often help individuals who do not live in Edmonton or are still in their country of origin. Depending on the country, we can meet by phone or a teleconferencing application like SKYPE or WhatsApp.

Do I Need to Have Any Information Handy For The Consultation?

It is not necessary to have any supporting documentation for the initial meeting with an immigration consultant. Should you choose to move ahead with employing the services of GES Immigration Consulting Inc., personal supporting documentation will be required at that time.

Scheduling The Initial Consultation.

It should be noted that our meeting slots are booked on a first come first serve basis. It is a good idea to schedule your consultation as soon as possible.

Do You Have Evening & Weekend Appointments?

Our regular hours of operation are 9AM – 5PM Monday through Friday. Weekends and meetings outside of regular hours available by appointment.

Information to Bring to The First Meeting

After the initial consultation, we will schedule a time to meet with you to begin working on your immigration application. Your immigration consultant will provide you with a list of information to bring to the meeting. Personal identification, work history, education and other supporting documents are common. Each situation has its own unique requirements.

When Is Payment Required?

We can accept your deposit in trust at the time of the initial consultation or at the first meeting.

Why Don’t You Provide A Price by Phone?

It is important that we have a thorough understanding of the client before quoting a price. Obtaining a price over the phone is like calling a mechanic and trying to get a quote on fixing your car before they look at it. If you get a immigration quote before the consultant has taken the time to learn about you and your situation, there is a good chance that either the services quoted aren’t going to be right for you, or there is a good chance that you are going to be hit with extra fees later.

Parking at GES Immigration Consulting Inc.

We have plenty of 2 hour free parking at our convenient Old Strathcona location.

How Long Is The Initial Consultation?

We set aside a one hour block for initial client consultations. Although initial meetings can be as short as 30 minutes, we make sure we have enough time blocked off to fully understand your situation and present a recommendation for immigration services. We take time to answer any questions you may have.

Can We Do The Initial Consultation by Phone?

We prefer to have the initial meeting in person. This helps us get to know you more personally and allows you to become familiar with our office. We do, however, have the ability to meet over phone, SKYPE or WhatsApp should you be unable to meet in person. We ask that you have a computer with an internet connection in front of you during the meeting so we can present relevant documents to you.

Do You Provide A Quote For Services?

Yes! Once we have a better idea of your unique situation, we will provide you with a quote for services.

How Reliable Is the Quote?

As we have been providing immigration consultations for quite some time and we stay current with the rates that other consultancies charge. We want you to be confident with us as your immigration professional. We include application fees and supplies into our pricing, so you won’t have to be concerned with extra “surprise” costs along the way.

What’s the Next Step After I Sign With You?

The next step is to provide a deposit of funds held in trust with GES Immigration Consulting Inc.. These funds are drawn upon at each progression of your file. Your immigration consultant will create a list of documentation and supporting documents that you must provide and will schedule the next meeting with you.

How Long Does This Process Take?

We do our best to prepare your application and promptly follow up with any requests from Canada Immigration. The speed with which you gather information, supporting documentation and get it to us, will help in the preparation of the application. We have no control over the processing times with Canada Immigration.

Are You A Licensed Immigration Practitioner?

Yes! Glenn Stewart is an authorized Immigration Practitioner in good standing with immigration consultants of College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).  His license number is R419743 and can be verified here.

Can You Provide a Guarantee That Get An Approval?

No one can guarantee you an approval and you should be very concerned if someone DOES give you a guarantee. Only a visa officer with Canada Immigration can render a final decision on any individual’s application. You will not know what the outcome is until you receive in writing a decision from the visa officer.
