About

I have 10+ years as an immigration practitioner, since March 2009 and two previous years working with another Immigration Consultant (12 years + in the field)
I have worked as a temporary foreign worker in Northern Europe – employed by a Technical Forestry College in Finland performing technical work in their private forest operations and a local wood products manufacturing facility

My Social circle that spans the globe, having met international students while a volunteer with a local non profit organization at the University of Alberta, students from Korea, China, Singapore, the Philippines and many countries on the African continent, some friends had serious issues with the Canadian Immigration department and this prompted my interest in the field leading me to enter this area as a career.
I was born in Eastern Canada, My Great Great grandparents migrated to Canada from Ireland in the 1820’s and 1850 to Western Quebec
My educational training includes studying Forest Technology at Fleming College, Lindsay Ontario graduate 1989, studied business administration – marketing- NAIT graduate 1998, studied Public Policy Administration – Immigration Law and Practice – Bow Valley College Calgary Alberta 2008
I was licensed as an Immigration Practitioner in March 2009 and now a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council since 2011
My hobbies and interests include, competitive Piper with a local pipe and drum band (highland bagpipes), I’ve competed in international competitions in Scotland and the United States as well as local provincial competitions and performed at numerous private functions and ceremonies
I am interested in history, and the arts. Volunteered with a local non profit foundation involved with HIV/Aids awareness. A lover of Canada’s great outdoors especially the Canadian Rockies.
